PhD Student Forum on Smart world: Research Challenges |
Smart world development has entered an exciting stage with the purpose to provide proactive and personalized services for users. However, smart world development is also facing a lot of challenges that need to be addressed. |
One mission of IEEE CIS Smart World Technical Committee (SWTC) is to attract young researchers to the area of CIS on Smart World and provide them with education and communication platform. Thus, SWTC will organize a PhD Student Forum on Smart world: Research Challenges, as part of its sponsored conference: the IEEE Smart World Congress (http://www.smart-world.org/2019/) to be held during 19-23 Aug, 2019 in Leicester, UK. |
The proposed PhD Student Forum on Smart world: Research Challenges will bring together PhD students participating the 2019 IEEE Smart World Congress to discuss many of the facets of Smart World and Smart Computing research, more specifically, the challenges of smart world research. A few senior researchers will be invited to the forum to interact with the students. PhD students are welcomed to share their experience on Smart World Research and how they managed to tackle some of the challenges that they faced during their studies. PhD students are also encouraged to share their current challenges in their current PhD studies and research. Senior researchers will provide feedback and advice to the students. |
