The 2018 International Workshop on Assistive Engineering and Information Technology (AEIT 2018) will be held in October 8-12, 2018, in Guangzhou, China, conjunction with the IEEE Smart World Congress 2018 (http://www.smart-world.org/2018/). The motivation of this workshop is to introduce the recent progress of assistive engineering. It is expected that engineering is applied for welfare of person with disabilities and senior citizens in modernization society. The relative fields of the workshop include the applications of information technology, mechanical electronic, biological engineering, multimedia technology, communication technology, material science, image processing and brain science on assistive engineering, and so on.
AEIT 2018 topics include, but are not limited to the following:
