The 19th IEEE International Conference on Scalable Computing & Communications 2019 (IEEE ScalCom 2019) will be hosted in UK during 19-23 August 2019. IEEE ScalCom2019 Big Data Workshop promotes the most recent research and application in the area of big data. We also welcome the participation of the industry to showcase their poster and demo as well as big data platforms. Scientists, researchers, engineers, and students are encouraged to get involved.

Topics of Interest

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

•   Posters in Big Data field
•   Demo of high-performance computing tools (middleware, data management, simulators, programming languages and libraries, applications)
•   Big Data analysis of network quality & performance
•   System architecture (Hadoop/Spark/Flink etc.), system performance analysis
•   Software, system implementation, management tools, ETL, green data center
•   Machine learning in LTE/LTE-Advanced/5G
•   Big Data driven End-to-End Voice & Data service optimization
•   Big Data driven radio resource allocation and load optimization in mobile network
•   Big Data on network design & optimization
•   Big Data assisted telecom operation
•   Big Data analysis of mobile terminals
•   Big Data in other relevant areas

Submission Guidelines

Authors are requested to submit original, unpublished manuscripts in standard IEEE proceedings format in PDF (a maximum paper length of six (6) printed pages). All submissions must be typeset in double-column IEEE format, with all fonts embedded. Submitted papers must include the contact information of all the authors. Please make sure you use the latest version of the templates to prepare your submissions. The IEEE LaTeX and Microsoft Word templates for conferences can be found at: http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html.

Papers, which are accepted and presented at IEEE ScalCom Workshop, will be published in the IEEE ScalCom2019 proceedings and submitted for inclusion into EI indexing. Paper submission is via EDAS system: https://edas.info/newPaper.php?c=25466&track=97140.
